The 2026 Big Ten receiving touchdowns race stays tightly bunched because early-season production remains volatile across a deep conference pool of wide receivers and tight ends. Charlie Becker has surged with five scores in two games for Indiana behind Josh Hoover’s efficient passing, while KJ Duff leads in yards and contested catches at Rutgers, Jeremiah Smith continues delivering for Ohio State, and Collin Dixon posted career highs for Illinois. Factors such as quarterback distribution, offensive scheme emphasis, defensive adjustments, and varying schedule strength prevent any single player from separating, with preseason standouts like Griffin Wilde, Javon Tracy, and Benjamin Brahmer also positioned for volume in their respective attacks. Trader consensus reflects this parity and the long runway remaining in conference play.
