Caleb Williams holds a dominant 91% implied probability in the 2026-27 Week 1 QBR market due to his record-setting performance in the Bears’ 59-37 season-opening win over the Panthers. The third-year quarterback completed 72.4% of his passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns while adding 65 rushing yards and two scores on the ground, powering Chicago to 552 offensive yards and eight touchdowns in the highest-scoring Week 1 game in NFL history. His 94.9 Total QBR tops ESPN’s early Week 1 leaderboard by a wide margin. Other signal-callers posted solid outings but none matched Williams’ efficiency, dual-threat production, or role in a franchise-record offensive explosion. Late adjustments to official QBR calculations or overlooked multi-QB games remain the only realistic paths to a different outcome.
