The Bears-Vikings season series remains tightly contested in trader pricing because both NFC North clubs enter 2026 with overlapping strengths and early-season uncertainties that favor a split. Chicago’s explosive offense under Ben Johnson produced 59 points in Week 1 and hosts the first matchup at Soldier Field, yet Minnesota’s defense under Brian Flores and its late-season home date create realistic paths for each side to claim one victory. Quarterback instability for the Vikings—Kyler Murray in concussion protocol with Carson Wentz expected to start Week 2—adds volatility to the opener, while Chicago’s healthier roster and rushing attack provide an edge that traders have not fully priced into a Bears sweep. Historical divisional patterns and the Week 18 rematch at U.S. Bank Stadium keep the implied probability of a tie highest among current outcomes.
