The Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots enter the 2026 season as closely matched AFC East rivals following the Patriots’ division title in 2025. Buffalo returns franchise quarterback Josh Allen and a proven roster that posted a 12-5 record last year, while New England’s recent success and home-field advantage in one matchup support expectations of a competitive split. Official schedules show the clubs meeting twice, with early previews highlighting strong motivation on both sides and historical patterns of series ties. This balance of talent, recent form, and divisional rivalry dynamics keeps trader consensus tightly bunched around even implied probabilities for either team claiming the season series or a 1-1 outcome.
