The NFL single-season receiving yards record stands at Calvin Johnson’s 1,964 from 2012, with the next-closest mark Cooper Kupp’s 1,947 in 2021 and recent peaks including Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 1,793 and Puka Nacua’s 1,715 in 2025. Entering the 2026 season, consensus projections for the top wide receivers—Nacua, Smith-Njigba, Ja’Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Justin Jefferson—center in the 1,200–1,500-yard range, well short of the 115-plus yards per game needed over 17 contests. Modern defensive coverages, target sharing within pass-heavy offenses, and the physical demands of sustaining elite volume across a full schedule have kept even the strongest recent campaigns from approaching the mark. Early 2026 training-camp and Week 1 reports show no emerging outlier pace or roster changes that alter this baseline, reinforcing trader consensus around the 79.5% probability assigned to “No.”

If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player exceeded 1,964 receiving yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
