This market will resolve in favor of “John/Paige” if the team of Big John and Paige Spiranac wins more holes than the team of JR Smith and Claire Hogle in the 2026 Polymarket Classic. Otherwise, this market will resolve in favor of “JR/Claire”. This match will be played as an 18-hole scramble between teams. No handicap strokes will be awarded to either player. Both teams begin even at 0-0. Best ball position will be played by each team. The team that wins each hole earns 1 point. The team who wins the most holes over 18 holes wins the match. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, a sudden-death scramble will be played until there is a winner. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the 2026 Polymarket Classic is cancelled, postponed after August 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined which team won within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be the official stream from the official channels of the named participants.JR Smith and Claire Hogle hold a 67% implied probability in the Polymarket Classic 2v2 scramble match play due to strong trader consensus around their matchup edge. Smith brings notable golf experience from competitive rounds and prior events, complementing Hogle’s steady form in scramble formats where consistent ball-striking and short-game execution often decide outcomes. The opposing pair of Paige Spiranac and Big John faces questions over chemistry and recent preparation in similar high-profile creator golf settings, with Spiranac’s professional background offset by the need for seamless team coordination over 18 holes. No major injury or withdrawal issues have emerged heading into the August 1 contest.
