FIFA retains sole authority over 2026 World Cup scheduling across its 16 host cities, with eleven U.S. venues locked into binding contracts that make relocating any match abroad a logistical and legal hurdle. Recent political rhetoric from U.S. officials about shifting games from specific cities has been dismissed by FIFA vice presidents and organizers as non-binding, while Iran's formal request to move its three U.S.-based fixtures to Mexico was rejected outright. With the tournament opening in June, no security or infrastructure developments have prompted official changes, and FIFA continues to express full confidence in all three co-host nations. Traders price the "no relocation" outcome at 92.5% because the barriers to altering the schedule remain substantial absent unforeseen crises.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if it is announced that any game originally scheduled to be held in the U.S. to be relocated to a location outside of the U.S. by June 10, 2026, 11:59 ET. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”.
A qualifying announcement will immediately resolve the market to "Yes" regardless of whether the relocation is later revoked.
The resolution source will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
