The WSOP Player of the Year race remains tightly bunched at the top because Shaun Deeb, Naoya Kihara, and William Foxen sit within roughly 30 points after the Las Vegas series concluded, with only a player's top 15 results counting toward the final tally. Deeb's late surge in high-stakes mixed events and consistent cashes gave him the narrow lead, while Foxen's bracelet win plus multiple final tables and Kihara's strong bracelet performances kept the trio separated by margins smaller than a single modest cash in upcoming WSOP Paradise events. Deeper in the field, proven performers such as Michael Mizrachi, Nicholas Schulman, and Joshua Arieh retain realistic paths if they post strong scores in December, underscoring how variance in remaining high-buy-in fields continues to shape the implied probabilities reflected in current trader consensus.
