Iga Świątek holds a narrow edge in trader pricing as the four-time Roland Garros champion and proven clay-court specialist, yet her 2026 form has drawn scrutiny after early exits and a reported retirement in Madrid. Aryna Sabalenka sits close behind despite lower-back and hip concerns that forced a third-round withdrawal from Rome following recent losses in Madrid and Rome, limiting her preparation time before the May 24 start. Coco Gauff benefits from defending-champion status and strong all-court movement, while Elena Rybakina and Mirra Andreeva add depth with recent ranking gains and aggressive baseline play suited to the surface. The tight spread among the top five reflects a field where recent hard-court results, injury recoveries, and historical clay performances create balanced implied probabilities without a dominant pre-tournament favorite.
