The 2026 French Open women's singles field remains tightly contested at Roland Garros due to the depth among clay-court specialists and recent form on the surface. Iga Świątek's multiple prior titles and strong historical record there anchor her position as the narrow leader, while Aryna Sabalenka's consistent power baseline and recent WTA successes keep her within striking distance. Coco Gauff's back-to-back deep runs in clay Masters events, combined with Mirra Andreeva's rapid ranking climb and Elena Rybakina's improved movement, sustain pressure on the top group. No single player has separated decisively in the lead-up, leaving the implied probabilities clustered as traders weigh head-to-head matchups, current fitness, and the unpredictable nature of best-of-three sets on slow red clay.
