Carlos Alcaraz secured the 2026 Australian Open men's singles title with a four-set victory over Novak Djokovic in the final at Rod Laver Arena, completing his career Grand Slam at age 22. The world No. 1's consistent form across the fortnight, including a five-set semifinal win over Alexander Zverev, drove the overwhelming trader consensus reflected in the near-certain pricing. Strong hard-court results earlier in the season and superior baseline power against top competition further cemented expectations. With the event concluded, no remaining variables like injuries or upsets can shift the outcome, though pre-tournament scenarios such as a deep run by an in-form veteran like Djokovic briefly sustained minor long-shot interest.
