Steve Hilton leads the Fresno County outcome in this California governor race at 62.5% implied probability, reflecting the county's stronger Republican tilt compared to statewide trends and his primary performance there. In the June 2, 2026, top-two primary, Hilton secured the highest share of Fresno votes among all candidates, advancing alongside Democrat Xavier Becerra to the November 3 general election. Becerra trails at 31% amid the county's voting patterns favoring the Republican nominee. Multiple other listed candidates remain at 50%, consistent with their negligible support in primary returns from the area. No major campaign developments in the past month have shifted these local dynamics, though Hilton's messaging on taxes, housing costs, and state spending continues to target Central Valley voters ahead of the general election.
