Jonny Clayton holds a narrow edge in this New Zealand Darts Masters encounter due to his established PDC world ranking near the top five, multiple major titles, and recent strong performances including a tournament victory over Gerwyn Price. The Welshman's consistent high scoring averages against elite opposition provide a clear advantage in experience and stage pedigree. Ben Robb counters with strong local familiarity on home soil, proven domestic results, and competitive regional form that can pressure opponents in shorter formats. This balance keeps implied probabilities tight, as Robb's potential for high averages and home support creates realistic upset opportunities, while any dip in Clayton's doubling accuracy or travel effects could quickly shift momentum.
