Gian van Veen, the world No. 2, enters the Australian Darts Masters quarter-final on strong recent form after a clinical 6-3 win over Raymond Smith featuring a 161 checkout and 96 average. Brody Klinge, an Australian qualifier riding an eight-title ADA Tour season, created the market tension with a dramatic 6-5 upset of Ross Smith in a deciding leg. The even implied probabilities reflect Klinge’s home-soil momentum and proven domestic scoring against van Veen’s proven PDC pedigree and checkout reliability. A strong opening leg or sustained doubles accuracy from the Australian could shift sentiment quickly, while any lapse in van Veen’s finishing would tighten the contest further.
