Jeff Winther captured the 2026 Danish Golf Championship on home soil at Great Northern in Kerteminde, finishing at 15-under 273 to win by three strokes. The 38-year-old Dane delivered a strong final-round 67 featuring a late eagle, capitalizing on local knowledge, course familiarity, and momentum from his 2021 Mallorca Golf Open victory. Fellow Dane Rasmus Højgaard and other contenders like Yanhan Zhou stayed close through much of the week but could not match Winther’s closing surge on the DP World Tour event. While his dominant market position reflects confirmed results, late-round collapses, sudden weather shifts affecting scoring, or an unexpected surge from chasing players represent the primary variables that could have altered the outcome in a tightly contested national championship.
