**Houston Gaines secured the Republican nomination for Georgia's open 10th congressional district seat by winning 66.9% of the vote in the May 19, 2026 primary after receiving a Trump endorsement, while Pamela DeLancy emerged as the Democratic nominee.** The district, previously held by Mike Collins with 63% in 2024, carries a solid Republican lean that all major forecasters rate as a safe or solid hold. Georgia law requires a majority for outright victory on November 3, with a runoff only if no candidate reaches 50%. Trader consensus on an outright winner at 88% reflects this established partisan advantage and the absence of competitive general-election polling, though shifts in national conditions or turnout patterns through the fall remain possible factors.
