Recent meteorological model consensus from sources like GFS and ECMWF points to a high of 18–19°C in Cape Town on September 17 under clearing skies and moderate southeasterly winds following a cool, rainy period on the 15th. This setup favors dry, stable conditions typical of spring transition, with afternoon temperatures peaking near 18°C at official stations. Trader emphasis on 19°C reflects these forecasts while acknowledging small upside potential from localized warming or model adjustments before resolution. Historical September averages hover around 18°C, providing baseline context for the tight distribution around the leading outcomes.
