With two La Liga matchdays left, a tight cluster of teams separated by just a handful of points fuels uncertainty over which side lands exactly in 17th and survives relegation. Elche holds a narrow edge in trader consensus thanks to its home fixture against already-safe Getafe and level points with direct rivals, while Athletic Bilbao, Mallorca, Osasuna, Girona, Sevilla, Alavés, and Levante sit within striking distance after mixed recent results. Espanyol’s improved form has lifted it slightly clear of the deepest danger, and Real Sociedad’s stronger mid-table standing keeps its odds minimal. Head-to-head history, goal difference, and the outcomes of key clashes like Osasuna versus Espanyol will determine the final positioning in this wide-open survival scramble.
