If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Paul Skenes leads the 2026 NL Cy Young market as the defending winner, posting a 1.98 ERA through early May while leading the league in WHIP and limiting opponents to a .141 batting average. Cristopher Sanchez sits second after two scoreless outings and elite underlying metrics like a 28.1% strikeout rate, keeping him competitive in the race. Shohei Ohtani's sub-1.00 ERA and minimal earned runs across limited starts reflect his dual-threat workload, though innings caps temper his position. Recent gems from Jacob Misiorowski and Mason Miller have lifted their shares, while Chris Sale and Yoshinobu Yamamoto maintain ground on strong form. Trader consensus prices these outcomes based on the latest Statcast data and performance trends in a historically deep field.
