The Miami Marlins enter the three-game series at Coors Field with a 40-39 record, sitting fourth in the NL East after a recent stretch that included wins over the Giants and Rangers. The Rockies, at 31-49 and last in the NL West, have shown modest improvement at home but continue to struggle overall with pitching consistency. High-altitude conditions at the Rockies’ home park typically boost offense for both sides, potentially leading to elevated run totals regardless of starter matchups. Marlins rotation depth and bullpen stability give them an edge on paper, while Colorado’s recent roster moves, including activations from the injured list, aim to stabilize their lineup. Weather and any late scratches remain variables ahead of the June 29 opener.
