Both teams enter the 2026 season as NFC West frontrunners with elite rosters, creating trader consensus around a 1-1 split as the likeliest series outcome. The Rams bolstered their defense via additions like Myles Garrett (now on injured reserve with a knee issue) and Aaron Donald's return from retirement, while the Seahawks return as defending Super Bowl champions behind Sam Darnold, though his recent glute injury has sidelined him for multiple weeks. Early-season results show both clubs dealing with key absences—Rams wideout Puka Nacua questionable and Seahawks secondary depth limited—which could shape momentum heading into their late-season home-and-home set. Historical divisional intensity and home-field splits further support even odds for each club claiming one victory.
