Joe Pyfer's emphatic second-round TKO victory over Israel Adesanya in March 2026 elevated the middleweight contender's profile, positioning him for a high-profile follow-up after a planned August 15 bout with Caio Borralho was scrapped due to the Brazilian's rib injury. This leaves a cluster of ranked options—Dricus Du Plessis, Nassourdine Imavov, and Brendan Allen—each with comparable implied probabilities in the low-to-mid 40s, reflecting overlapping divisional pathways, recent form, and matchmaking flexibility. Anthony Hernandez and Borralho trail at lower levels amid broader uncertainty over scheduling, recovery timelines, and title implications that keep trader consensus tightly contested.
