Canada enters its Group B opener against Denmark as a heavy favorite due to overwhelming roster depth and historical dominance. Most Canadian skaters hail from NHL organizations, bringing elite speed, skill, and physicality that outclass Denmark’s roster, which features primarily European league players. Recent pre-tournament exhibitions and past World Championship meetings show Canada routinely posting double-digit shot advantages and multi-goal victories. Denmark has improved its structure and goaltending in recent years, yet the gap in top-end talent and special-teams execution remains substantial. With both sides at full strength and no reported late injuries, traders view a Canadian win as the clear consensus outcome.
