Mexico and South Korea each netted two goals in their June 11-12 openers, keeping the race for Group A’s highest group-stage tally tight among the co-hosts, South Korea, and Czechia. Mexico’s attacking options, led by experienced forwards, benefit from home crowds and favorable remaining fixtures, while South Korea’s resilient comeback victory highlighted their counter-attacking threat. Czechia’s single goal and South Africa’s shutout loss leave both sides needing offensive output in must-win clashes, including the June 18 Czechia-South Africa matchup. With three matches per team and no dominant defensive units established, traders see multiple paths for any side to finish atop the goal chart.
