Mert Alkaya holds a clear edge entering the ITF M25 Porto hard-court match against Ivan Dreycopp, driven by his ATP ranking near 332 compared to Dreycopp’s position outside the top 1,700. Alkaya, a 26-year-old Turkish player with a career-high of 321, advanced by rallying past Robin Catry in the prior round, while the 23-year-old Argentine Dreycopp reached this stage with a straight-sets win over a lower-ranked opponent. Limited professional experience and ranking gap favor Alkaya in baseline rallies and consistency, though surface familiarity and any fatigue from the short turnaround remain variables in this lower-tier event.
