Abel Forger and Pietro Orlando Fellin meet in the round of 16 at the ITF M15 Gyula on outdoor clay, a surface that rewards consistency from the baseline and strong movement. Fellin enters with the stronger recent record on clay, including quarterfinal appearances at nearby M15 events in Hungary and prior experience reaching challenger qualifying rounds. The Italian also holds the higher ATP ranking near 488 compared to Forger’s position around 800. Forger arrives after a first-round win in Gyula but has shown mixed results in recent European ITF stops. Neither player has notable head-to-head history, and both compete in best-of-three sets with no reported injuries or withdrawals affecting the draw. Clay-court form, ranking differential, and match-specific adaptation will shape outcomes in this lower-tier professional event.
