The St. Louis Cardinals hold a clearer edge entering the upcoming interleague series at Kauffman Stadium, sitting at 37-28 and second in the NL Central while the Kansas City Royals stand at 28-42 and last in the AL Central. Recent Cardinals form includes solid contributions from position players like Jordan Walker, though the club continues to manage multiple injured list placements including Ramón Urías and Ryan Fernandez. The Royals have dealt with their own setbacks, such as Seth Lugo’s concussion recovery and other day-to-day concerns, limiting rotation depth ahead of the three-game set. Home-field factors at Kauffman and the clubs’ contrasting standings and health profiles shape trader views on individual game outcomes.
