Broadcast live at 12:30 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN2, the event’s commentary will likely spotlight record attempts, the signature yellow “mustard belt,” and Chestnut’s dominant performance after last year’s 70.5-dog victory. Recent developments, including his cleared probation status and public commitment to Nathan’s, have heightened anticipation around celebratory or record-related language, while political or unexpected mentions remain long-shot variables. Traders are weighing the predictable rhythm of Major League Eating announcing against the chance for breakout phrases tied to the women’s competition or surprise moments.
