Julia Konishi Camargo Silva, a 26-year-old Brazilian ranked near 657-689, brings greater ITF experience from recent W15 and W35 clay events in South America, where she has posted consistent early-round results. Facing her in the W35 Chacabuco first round is 17-year-old Argentine Mia Celeste Brayotta, a junior-circuit product transitioning to senior events with limited prior ITF exposure. The clay surface in Argentina favors Brayotta’s home-soil familiarity and potential athletic edge, while Silva’s age and match volume provide a steadier baseline. No prior head-to-head exists, leaving form, fitness, and adaptation to the W35 level as the key variables shaping trader views on this opener.
