Kimi Antonelli's early-season surge has shaped trader consensus in the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship, with the Mercedes driver converting three consecutive poles into victories to build a 20-point lead over teammate George Russell after the opening races. This form has elevated Antonelli's implied probability while keeping Russell competitive through consistent results and Mercedes' strong overall package. Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc sit further back in the standings, with Norris delivering podiums but lacking the Mercedes duo's pace, and Verstappen's Red Bull challenges remaining limited so far. The tight battle between Antonelli and Russell reflects their intra-team rivalry, recent momentum shifts, and the unpredictable nature of the new regulations, where small margins in qualifying and race execution can quickly alter championship trajectories.
