Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast Suns meet in Round 23 at the Gabba in the latest QClash, with trader pricing reflecting a tight contest despite Brisbane’s stronger 2026 ladder position and historical dominance in the derby. The Lions sit near the top four with superior percentage after 21 games, yet key absences including Keidean Coleman’s concussion protocols and long-term injuries to ruck-forward Henry Smith and Jack Payne have thinned their depth ahead of the home fixture. Gold Coast, positioned around 14th with seven wins, showed flashes in earlier clashes but enters on a run of losses; their recent form and Brisbane’s schedule pressure create the narrow implied probability. Late selection news, ruck or midfield availability, and finals motivation for the hosts remain the clearest variables that could shift sentiment before Saturday’s bounce.
