Both Geelong and Essendon enter their Round 22 clash at GMHBA Stadium carrying significant injury concerns that have disrupted lineups and forward-half pressure. Geelong has endured a dip in recent form, including multiple losses that dropped them outside the top eight, compounded by absences for Max Holmes (ankle surgery), Jeremy Cameron (AC joint), and Tanner Bruhn. Essendon continues to manage a long-term absence for Nic Martin alongside other roster adjustments. These factors, alongside variable recent results for both sides, underpin trader consensus around even implied probabilities. Confirmed returns from injury lists, strong pre-game form, or favorable home conditions could quickly shift momentum and odds in either direction.
