Bolelli and Vavassori, the Italian seventh seeds, enter this Rome semifinals matchup with strong home-soil momentum after defeating top seeds Heliovaara and Patten in the quarterfinals on clay. The experienced pairing has shown consistent doubles form this spring, leveraging effective net play and baseline synergy on the slower red surface. Harrison and Skupski counter with proven Grand Slam and Masters experience, including recent deep runs, relying on Skupski’s left-handed serve and Harrison’s aggressive returns to create opportunities. Clay-court conditions and crowd support for the locals remain key variables that could influence tiebreak execution and overall rhythm in what shapes up as a tightly contested semifinal.
