This market will resolve according to the team winning 1st place at the 2026 EWC League of Legends Tournament, currently scheduled for July 15 - July 19, 2026. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the winner of EWC League of Legends is not determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the EWC website (https://esportsworldcup.com/en/competitions/2026/league-of-legends). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The EWC League of Legends field remains tightly bunched because a deep 16-team bracket pits elite LCK representatives such as Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and Dplus Kia against top LPL sides including Bilibili Gaming, JD Gaming, and AG.AL, plus strong LEC, LCS, and regional qualifiers like G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, Sentinels, and GAM Esports. Recent online qualifiers and spring/summer regional results have produced few decisive separations in form, while roster stability, patch adaptation, and the pool-based group draw create multiple viable paths to the July finals in Paris. Defending champion Gen.G carries recent international pedigree, yet the presence of several MSI-caliber lineups and the inherent volatility of best-of-series play sustain broad trader parity across the field.
