Incumbent Rich McCormick faces Democrat Tony Kozycki in Georgia’s 7th congressional district general election on November 3. The seat’s solid Republican tilt, reflected in an R+11 partisan voting index and McCormick’s 64.9 percent victory in 2024, underpins trader consensus at 100 percent for an outright majority. McCormick advanced unopposed through the May Republican primary, while Kozycki prevailed in the June Democratic runoff, leaving little time or structural support for a competitive challenge that could force a December runoff under Georgia rules. Historical margins and the absence of significant opposition or late developments sustain this positioning, though an unforeseen scandal, health event, or turnout anomaly could still alter the outcome before election day.
