Alphabet (GOOGL) has traded in a tight range near $344 following its August 18 close, supported by robust Q2 2026 results that featured 24% revenue growth and an 82% surge in Google Cloud, fueled by AI infrastructure demand. Elevated 2026 capex guidance of $195–205 billion has tempered near-term margins but reinforced long-term positioning amid heavy AI investments. Institutional accumulation, including Berkshire Hathaway's stake increase, and sector rotation into tech have anchored prices above post-earnings lows near $315. With no major catalysts imminent on August 19 and the stock consolidating in the mid-$340s, trader sentiment for the daily close hinges on broader equity flows, Treasury yields, and any incremental AI-related news flow.

If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No".
Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding.
If Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50.
For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange.
If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price.
