Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent Met Office guidance and ensemble model consensus indicate a minimum temperature near 15–16°C for London on July 2, driven by a mild southwesterly flow under slack high pressure that limits nocturnal radiative cooling. Light winds and variable cloud cover are expected to moderate heat loss from the urban surface, while the city’s heat-island effect adds roughly 1–2°C compared with rural sites. With leading market probabilities tightly clustered between 15°C and 18°C, traders are weighting the spread in forecast guidance—particularly differences in predicted cloud thickness and boundary-layer mixing—alongside climatological July overnight lows near 14°C. Updated model runs and Met Office briefings over the next 48 hours will refine these variables ahead of resolution.
