Abdul El-Sayed's narrow August 4 Democratic primary victory over Haley Stevens, followed by his nomination for the open U.S. Senate seat, has positioned him as the clear frontrunner among traders for Oakland County in the November general election. Recent statewide polling shows El-Sayed holding a slim lead over Republican nominee Mike Rogers, with the suburban county's Democratic lean and El-Sayed's local ties reinforcing market pricing near 90%. Rogers's unopposed primary and fundraising edge have not shifted county-level expectations materially. Other listed candidates and minor-party options remain at lower implied probabilities due to limited viability in this two-candidate contest. Upcoming fall debates and campaign spending in the Detroit metro area represent the main variables that could still influence the outcome.
