This market will resolve in favor of the listed player who records the most points in a single game during the 2026 NBA Finals series between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the most total points during the 2026 NBA Finals. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher field goal percentage during the 2026 NBA Finals. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Finals series is cancelled, postponed after July 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is otherwise unclear which player recorded the most points in a single 2026 NBA Finals game within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Jalen Brunson's dominant series-long scoring pace, including a 45-point outburst in Game 5 that clinched the Knicks' 4-1 NBA Finals victory over the Spurs, underpins the market's heavy consensus around him claiming the single-game high. As the Knicks' primary offensive engine and Finals MVP, Brunson consistently posted elite usage and efficiency against San Antonio's defense, outpacing key counterparts like Victor Wembanyama in volume and peak output across the five games. Recent form, playoff experience, and matchup advantages in high-leverage situations further reinforced trader pricing. While a late-series surge from Wembanyama or another Spur could have challenged the outcome in a longer series, Brunson's confirmed totals and the Knicks' title-clinching performance leave limited realistic paths for alternatives to surpass his mark.
