The 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club has produced a tightly bunched leaderboard entering the final round, with Alex Smalley holding a two-shot lead at 6-under after three steady sub-70 rounds. Jon Rahm, Ludvig Åberg, Nick Taylor, Aaron Rai, and Matti Schmid sit just two back at 4-under, while Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele remain within three strokes following strong Saturday moves. This positioning reflects the course's demanding setup and the depth of contenders, including multiple major champions within five shots, creating realistic paths for several players to claim the Wanamaker Trophy. Trader consensus in the prediction market mirrors this late-stage volatility, where recent form, putting execution, and final-round experience will determine the outcome amid a field still very much in contention.
