Multiple running backs carry comparable implied probabilities near 25% to lead Week 1 rushing touchdowns, underscoring the single-game uncertainty of goal-line work and offensive scripts in the 2026 NFL season. No player holds a decisive edge because workload distribution, defensive fronts, and red-zone packages remain fluid entering opening weekend, with recent training-camp and preseason trends showing similar opportunity levels for several featured backs. The wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing accounts for variables such as offensive-line health, quarterback tendencies, and matchup-specific factors that can shift scoring chances dramatically, leaving a broad group—including those priced around 17%—with realistic paths to multiple scores while limiting any one contender's dominance.
