Recent polls show the Texas U.S. Senate race between Republican nominee Ken Paxton and Democratic nominee James Talarico remains within the margin of error statewide, with Tarrant County’s suburban voters serving as a key battleground. Talarico’s strength among independents, women, younger voters, and Hispanics has offset Paxton’s consolidation of Republican support after his primary win over John Cornyn. Campaign stops in Fort Worth highlighted contrasting priorities—crime and public safety versus child care costs—while a recent Democratic victory in a Tarrant County state Senate special election underscored shifting local dynamics. Trader odds reflect this balance, with separation likely hinging on turnout in early voting, further polling shifts among moderates, or late campaign developments on issues such as immigration and the economy.

If the results of the election in the specified county are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Texas, including the Office of the Secretary of State and the government of Tarrant County.
