Trey McBride enters the 2026 season as the Arizona Cardinals’ clear top tight end and a primary short-area target following his record-setting 2025 campaign of 126 receptions, 1,239 yards, and 11 touchdowns. New head coach Mike LaFleur’s West Coast scheme emphasizes his versatility, though the presence of wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson plus a more balanced offense could reduce his target share from the prior year’s league-leading volume. Jacoby Brissett remains under contract and has historically favored tight ends, providing continuity at quarterback amid a room that also includes rookie Carson Beck. McBride’s health and consistent availability will be pivotal, as any missed games or shifts in game script directly influence his reception totals in the 17-game schedule.
