Trader consensus heavily favors Conor McGregor (88.5%) as Max Holloway's next opponent, driven by reports from Ariel Helwani and Reuters indicating a trilogy fight is nearly finalized for UFC 329 on July 11 during International Fight Week, with Holloway confirming he's begun training camp despite awaiting a contract. This surge follows Holloway's one-sided decision loss to Charles Oliveira in the UFC 326 main event on March 7, positioning the former featherweight champ for a high-profile lightweight return amid McGregor's long-awaited Octagon comeback since 2021. Other contenders like Paddy Pimblett (23.5%) and Benoît Saint Denis (19.9%) linger as stylistic matchup options, but could be upended by McGregor's injury history, withdrawal patterns, or UFC pivoting to title eliminator bouts.
