Brandon Aiyuk's ongoing contract friction with the San Francisco 49ers shapes trader sentiment around his 2026-27 destination. The team voided roughly $27 million in 2026 guarantees last November after the wide receiver missed the entire prior season with a torn ACL and reportedly skipped meetings and team activities. General manager John Lynch has repeatedly signaled openness to a trade, preferably after June 1 to limit dead-cap impact, while owner Jed York left a slim possibility Aiyuk could remain. With his low base salary and September option bonus looming, the 49ers lead at 40.2 percent as the default if no deal materializes, yet broad interest from other clubs keeps a wide field clustered near 25 percent, reflecting the unresolved offseason standoff and potential for a mid-summer move.
