Liverpool’s reluctance to sell Cody Gakpo without securing at least two attacking reinforcements underpins the 67% probability he remains at Anfield through the summer window. The Netherlands forward, contracted until 2030 after extending last year, started the new Premier League season strongly with a goal in the opening draw against Newcastle. Tottenham Hotspur hold an edge over Manchester City after agreeing personal terms with Gakpo in July and submitting bids, though Liverpool’s valuation exceeds £75 million and cross-rivalry concerns further complicate any Etihad move. City’s late interest stems from outgoing attackers but lacks club-to-club discussions, while other suitors remain speculative amid the tight deadline.
