Elon Musk’s January announcement that he would file for full custody of his one-year-old son with influencer Ashley St. Clair, citing her apology for earlier remarks and support for the transgender community, sparked widespread media coverage of the ongoing dispute. St. Clair had already sought sole custody in prior proceedings where paternity was initially disputed, yet no subsequent court filings or rulings have emerged in the four months since. Family courts often prioritize primary caregiving patterns for young children, sustaining strong trader consensus that Musk is unlikely to secure full custody. Any reversal would require compelling new evidence presented in hearings or shifts in documented circumstances, outcomes that remain highly unpredictable in high-profile personal cases.
