Jan Choinski holds the edge in the Zagreb Challenger semifinal against Arthur Fery on red clay, where the higher-ranked Brit has posted a stronger recent clay record and advanced through three straight wins over Ficovich, Galan, and Rodesch. Fery, making his first career meeting with Choinski, demonstrated resilience by rallying from a set down in the quarters yet enters with less clay experience at this level. Both players arrive with solid 2026 form on the Challenger circuit, though Choinski’s greater height, serve power, and historical success on the surface shape trader expectations around his ability to dictate rallies from the baseline. Schedule and recovery factors remain limited given the short turnaround.
