Traders see a tightly contested race for the Billboard Hot 100 #2 spot the week of August 29, with multiple tracks clustered near 45–50% implied probability and no clear frontrunner. Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” and Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now” lead the named options at 45% and 43.5%, reflecting strong recent streaming gains and radio momentum, while Ella Langley’s two tracks and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” sit just behind amid similar platform metrics. Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” lags at 10%, consistent with its current trajectory. The narrow spreads highlight how small differences in final streaming, sales, and airplay data can shift the ranking before the chart locks, leaving room for last-minute adjustments from any of the closely matched contenders.
