**Trader sentiment for Toronto's September 3 high temperature centers on modest forecast uncertainty two days out, with 27°C and 28°C capturing over 75% of market-implied probability.** Official guidance from Environment Canada points to a 26°C high under partly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers, while several models and private forecasts cluster near 78–79°F (roughly 25.5–26°C). Recent model runs show limited warm-air advection and variable cloud cover that could allow brief clearing and push readings 1–2°C higher, consistent with the market's slight tilt above the baseline forecast. Historical September 3 averages sit near 24°C, but recent years have frequently exceeded 28°C when similar late-summer patterns persist. Key upcoming catalysts include the next Environment Canada update and fresh GFS/ECMWF runs, which often refine maximum-temperature guidance by 1–2°C within 48 hours of the event. The narrow spread between leading outcomes reflects genuine scientific uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing and precipitation timing rather than any strong directional bias.
